Some of you I hear don’t really come check the log, but get the posts sent to you through other means. I assume this means you can’t comment and you’ll also miss little fun stuff like the random pic of the day I post on my log page. You also miss my announcements.
Right now I’ve got a Rami’s Alt of the Month contest going on over at the Imperial Coalition forums. Guess the alt in the pic and you can win a blue and red skull dagger. There’s not much interest in it among IC though, so to be fair and because I need an excuse to give away this dagger I bought, I’ll be posting the Alt of the Month pics here on the log so all my hearties from other flags can have a chance to win too.
There was already a winner. Tikao guessed the first alt in like the first ten minutes or something and won some cookies. She can’t win again this month for that reason. Some people have been asking and so hints have been dropped. The alt has been hanging around Onyx since I posted her pic, she’s also pillaged with a crew in IC at least once. She is new and is not someone any of you have met yet (other than those on that pillage.) She is not in the flag.
So after giving Tikao her cookies I fought Cotton some. (Cotton is my real dad, but he doesn’t talk, if you try to message him he’ll just annoy the hell out of me about it.) He beat me in rumble, which surprised me. But then I beat him in sword fighting. He joined his first tourney today and I had to spend a lot of time teaching him how to find tourneys and how to join them. Then I noticed his name was pink and asked him about it, but he of course had no idea. I help him get off duty. (Went in the other room and typed it for him, he’s green about commands too) I thought it was a bug, so I tried to submit a report, but that didn’t work so I petitioned and OM. I received a prompt response suggesting he went on a greeter pillage. So I asked him and he didn’t know. So I asked him if he went on a pillage full of mostly greenies and everyone did really bad. And he said yes. Still, I’d feel sorry for the greenie that tried to ask him for help. He doesn’t talk and they’d just annoy him for speaking. Lol
Then I went on a recruiting pillage with Jolyma in her baghlah. It’s something we plan to do every day now. She thinks I need to learn to gun, but I don’t know about that. I’ve tried gunning before and don’t seem to be all that great at it. Sometimes I do fine and sometimes I suck. Probably would help if I liked the puzzle.While on the pillage there was one jobber who kept talking to her darling or something, but wouldn’t put a name with that. She asked where her dear was and I told her I was there and then licked her. She didn’t seem to like that much. She even said, “idiot’ but when Joly asked her if she’d just called one of her officers an idiot, Bree said she didn’t. But she followed that by saying officers don’t lick. Not sure where she got that notion, I know lots of officers that lick.
Later Horrace came and called out for Ethario who didn’t respond. I told Horrace Eth was too busy crushing on me and that’s why he couldn’t pull himself away, back to hunter. I told Horrace how I keep telling Eth I only have eyes for Horrace, but that Eth just doesn’t listen. Horrace. After awhile, they both went back to Hunter.
I then got on my latest secret alt who is the Alt of the Month and pillaged with a crew in the flag. While on that pillage I had to report someone that tried to job me while I was working at my duty station. That sort of thing really bugs me a lot. At the sword fight portion of the battle people kept dying and they’d apologize when they’d die, saying they were sorry. I told them I wasn’t. One of them asked about that and I told them I did my best and that’s all I can do so I had nothing to be sorry about. Apologies indicate you did something wrong or that you disappointed people. But I do my best at everything so if people are disappointed then that’s their fault, not mine. Though all that being said, I know for a fact that the crew I pillaged with is perfectly happy with my best. They are good people and don’t expect more from others than those others can give.
I announced to everyone over flag officer chat that Zythros is now courting me with the intention to marry me in the future. I said that we were so excited that we thought everyone should know. Some started to congratulate us, but Amber knows me a bit too well. She asked if he was aware of his courting me to marry. I responded, “He is now.” Amber suggested he run and Monty gave him a slingshot to help him. I used my wisking potion and went to Harmatan to be with my new honey, but Ashebashe wouldn’t let me in the door. So I declared again over fo that Zythros and I were through, but I was now being courted by Monty. I don’t think Monty noticed though, cause he was at Hurly’s wedding.
Later that night I moved stuff into Loki’s villa. That’s where I’ll be throwing my parties, so I kinda needed a room there as well. There was only one empty room though and it used to be Zen’s. Jolyma renamed it and gave it to me anyway, but I’m a little nervous about taking anything that was once Zen’s. There’s enough hard feelings there as it is and I’d hate to generate more drama. I moved in anyway, despite my fears and can only hope nothing bad happens. After moving in I poked Jolyma with my stick. I tried to poke Slayer too, but she made up excuses about being tired and such.
