I Came, I Stalked, I Pillaged.

Pirate Log: Sea Date 27.12.2010
Ramina

I was invited to some sort of gawk at Izobel party. I did not want to feel left out so when I got there I gawked at her as well.
Izobel shows off her new gown

I then had to go take a bath, though I assure you, it was not because a gawking party made me feel dirty. Upon my return there was sniffing and comments about me smelling better. I'm sure the jobbers thought we were mad, and they'd be correct in that assumption.
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Gravee lead was already on a pillage upon my return from my bath. I had asked her to wait for me when she announced it before my bath but dirty pirate money does not wait for me to get clean.
Photobucket

After we docked Jumonto realized the skeleton in the cage at the bow of the boat was his father. His father had apparently upset Gravee some time in the past. Jumonto was in denial about the condition his father was now in and kept trying to talk to the skeleton. It should have been his clue when the skeleton did not move or reply, but he insisted his father still lived and had simply lost weight.
Photobucket

Voxdei showed up about that time and attempted to greet everyone, but overlooked the one jobber we had and more importantly, Jumonto.
Photobucket

After having to spend time comforting Jumonto, I decided to stalk Tikao and stab her. When I arrived at the island in question however I found she was hiding in a stranger's house so I couldn't do her harm. I also noticed on that same island were Ms. Big and Izobel. I stalked them both.

I then joined Lord Captain SeaVagrant on his nightly pillage upon his fiery ship.
Photobucketdon't listen to pirates

We engaged The Widow Queen in a battle and the rules were placed before the crew on exactly how to handle the situation. I assure the Lord Captain someone wouldn't listen and would take out the Widow Queen. Despite me being right, we won anyway. And that should have been cause for celebration, but two of members on board did not want to celebrate, but brought down the morale for everyone by making a big deal about the inability to team according to orders. I won't mention any names, but they were two of the men on board and neither was Reezoo. (because he was the one on The Widow Queen. The other teaming on the bk was Tikao, but I didn't tell on her.)

It should be enough to win

After the pillage was over I retreated to my town house on Tigerleaf Mountain to put my money in my chest. It was there that I was stalked by Izobel and then Hazy. Well, really there was a break between the stalking where I went to Dragon's Nest to make toys. My ADD kicked in while Izobel was visiting and I forgot I had a quest and left her alone in my house.

At least I did not pick on anyone's name today. There was enough of that going on yesterday.

What's In a Name?: Happy Birthday Izobel

Pirate Log: Sea Date 12.26.2010
Ramina

I noticed a pillage was ending or some type of voyage, I assumed it was a pillage, but did not ask. One of the jobbers, Fiveforfight joined the crew as a full member. I was among those that welcomed him of course, but I was feeling cheeky and with a name like that he was just asking for it. Lord Captain Sea Vagrant went away for a bit shortly after the new guy joined so he missed most of what was said. I asked Fiveforfight if his parents were drunk when they named him. This sparked some fun and friendly conversation between myself and the new guy as well as a couple of crew mates. I mentioned how Fiveforfight had an ego and was violent. He didn't understand why I'd assume that, but it's all in his name. He thinks he has the strength of five men and is looking for a fight.

Jumonto asked me if I was accusing his parents of being drunk at his naming at one point, but I assure him though I guessed his parents were from some exotic location, I didn't not think they were drunk.

I also made the comment of how Gravee's name makes me think of death and thus is also a violent name. She just laughed and I sent a heart her way.

Fiveforfight was challenging me by this time and assuring me he could beat me very easily. (Without knowing who's alt he is, I don't listen to such bravado.) I would have challenged him, but I was getting the feeling he was taking it all a little too serious so instead I slyly started to clam it down without letting on I was doing so. Lord Captain SeaVagrant returned about that time and thus gave us all a nice out. I assured him I did not pick on anyone in his absence. He of course did not believe me and others were quick to inform on me to the captain. Someone said I picked on everyone. I then corrected them and reminded them all I did not pick on Sassyer because I was too afraid to and if the name was any indication, she was sassier than I. And I reminded them I had to pick on the new guy, hazing is a time honored tradition for new members of any group. And I had to pick on Gravee because I considered her the senior officer in charge in the captain's absence and thus I had to share the riches with her as well.

Fiveforfight again said he'd beat me in sword fighting, and I said he wouldn't because I'd take off my corset and bounce then he'd fold and crumble like any woman loving man would. He told me I was inappropriate. The Lord Captain told him to get used to it. (Five years and I haven't been reported yet. . . am I tempting fate?)

Lord Captain SeaVagrant then distracted myself and several others by taking us out on a pillage. We pillage every day, I just don't write about that everyday.

After the pillage we decided to hang out in the flag hall of Sea Change. On the way there I stopped at Arachne's shack on Jubilee to steal some of her clothes. She owes me for killing me and stealing everything I had. Well, before that I did a little love shower, my first for Sea Change. The Bandits of course knew what was coming when I announced in flag officer chat I was doing one and cheered even before I hit them with the poe I was throwing. You'd think that'd hurt? I received one doubloon and one poe back during the Love Shower. First time I'd ever gotten a doub thrown back at me. (I think Arachne did a Love Shower for Brink of Dawn one Christmas where she threw doubs instead of poe. Love Showers started with Ramina all the way back when she was in IC.)
Love Shower

Anchovia was all sly after the Love Shower and threw 69 pieces of eight at me, then fled before I could throw any back. I used to do that to people too, brought back some memories. Happy ones. ♥

In the flag hall
Pandrosos in a little dress
We lingered in the ballroom of the flag hall for a little bit. For some reason we often linger in that room. Pandrosos entered the hall and she was wearing a talbard as a mini dress. I commented on the sexy look and Yahreali said that the Lord Captain recruited based on sexual appeal and that he then couldn't figure out whey Izobel was recruited. Izobel was in the corner reading some poetry so he was sure she didn't hear him, but I then informed him that I write about everything that happens and Izobel likes to read my logs.
Yah puts his foot in his mouth

We switched room because SeaVagrant told us that Gravee would be putting up a local tourney, but she failed and made it ocean-wide. It was drinking so I did not join it, though I might have if it'd truly been local. Any of us who throw parties have made this same mistake at least once. I've given away nice things to strangers that were meant for flag mates before.

Yahreali continued to pick on Izobel and was obsessed with saying there was sexual tension between the two of them and that she should just give in. I was distracted and don't know exactly what was said prior, but Iz was saying there was more of us and we could beat up Yahreali, but he was sure we couldn't, so I challenged him. I do love to stab people. He tried to say he'd pulled a muscle and couldn't fight, but I didn't back down so he drew his sword. Then when he was laying in a pool of his own blood with me standing over him with my bloody sword he informed the others that we tied. They didn't believe him.

Hazy joined us, though I think she was there more for the tournament board. I reached out and touched her and she petted me back.

It was Izobel's birthday, but I did not have adequate warning so I didn't have anything special for her. I did have an extra wardrobe and asked her, she had none at all. So I went home to fetch it and then carried it all the way back to Jubilee to give it to her for her birthday.

As I was saying my farewells for the night, I realized that Yah and Iz were on a date, but then Yah told dumped her during the date for Lakina.

Why is the Rum Gone?

Ramina

I helped move a ship full of wood across the ocean for Lapislaz, queen of Sea Change. My captain, Seavagrant, was also there and seeing strange things in the ocean. He kept claiming he saw a trinkos. I told him it was an affect of too much rum and that he should have some more. So he drank it all.
But why is the rum gone?

We ran into trouble and lost some wood, but we only found trouble once that we couldn't run from, so it was a pretty good run. Despite Seavagrant drinking all the rum.

Tikao is an Old Maid

Arachne

I stalked Tikao to an inn where I kept trying to challenge her to fight me, but she kept picking rumble fights with others instead. Then Lord Luci stalked us there as well and Tikao said she was going to eat that Lord Luci needed to fight for her. I told her it was not becoming for a pirate queen to need a champion and refused to fight him. Mostly because he'd win, even with a stick. But I didn't get mad and call her names. I'd never do such a thing.

To distract me, Tikao ordered Lord Luci to lead a pillage, which he did. At the end of said pillage, we caught ourselves a new crew mate, Pelos. Pelos rocked and was good at teaming. I smell an alt. But I like him so far anyway, and he stuck with us even after losing two battles, though one doesn't really count as it was against Azabard.

But You Can't Lose at Rumble?

Pirate Log: sea date 08.11.10
Ramina

When greeting a bunch of sassy, cheeky pirates it might be best not to refer to them as, "a bunch of others." They won't really be offended, but the will sure call you out on it.
Izobel greets Seav and a bunch of others

The Pillage
I went on a pillage with my own crew with Seavagrant at the helm of his inferno sloop.

When entering a sword fight, Seavagrant had told us to stall. I did at first, but then I realized it was going to be an easy fight and stopped stalling. I'm not sure any of us were even knocked out of the fight and we did in fact win. I did not tell him that I didn't stall. Infernodragn also did not inform anyone of any lack of stalling. As far as Seavagrant knows, we all followed orders and stalled and that's why we won.
Photobucket

There is a battle we lost and it left several of us questioning our believes and our faith in the universe. The last ship of the night we attacked were barbarians and we actually lost against them. I did not think it was possible to lose at rumble at sea. Disillusioned with the world and the way of things we ported and all went our separate ways to go cry it off.

Not Fighting With Tikao

Pirate Log: sea date 07.11.10
Photobucket

Pillage One

I took a job with the Royal Pillagers which had Dunkhan at the helm of a large ship. There was very little madness or randomness on board and so the voyage was rather on the boring side. Tikao put her fish on her head to try and amuse me and that did work for a short time.
Photobucket

Tikao also demanded a present for getting her Fifth Order of the Jolly Roger, but as she did not give me a present for such a thing last month, I did not get her one this month.
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Tikao was not the only pirate on the ship who had strange things on her head.
PhotobucketPhotobucket

My own crew tried to distract me with talk of cookies, and hiding said cookies. We discovered that Gravee is not very good at hiding things from fellow flag mates. The flag hall does not make a good hiding place.
Photobucket
Photobucket

On Shore

After the pillage on the large ship which paid out as well as expected, which is to say almost nothing, I stood around on the shore of Tigerleaf a bit with Tikao, Captainflood, and Dunkhan.
PhotobucketPhotobucket

They talked about how the island was run by a brigand king and how someone should take it. I suggested they take it, but they all started making excuses about how lazy there were. I did the pirate thing to do and called them, “a bunch of soft landlubbers.”
Photobucket

Pillage Two
Fleeing the shore of Tigerleaf and the anger royals and monarch of Brink of Dawn I decided to hide out on my crew's own ship. Seavagrant was behind the helm of his inferno ship. When I arrived I noticed no one had the carp station so I took it, but as soon as I did a jobber asked for it. She cried thinking I wasn't going to give it her, but on most days I enjoy to sail as much as I enjoy to carp.
Photobucket

Seavagrant had a bit of bad luck on the ocean. Happens to everyone ever now and again. He just told us to fight harder, and so we did. Of course we won.
Photobucket

After winning that tough fight, we took kraken blood from the other ship. I asked if I could bathe in it, but Seavagrant gave me his typical answer of, “maybe later.” That is starting to become a habit with him.
Photobucket

Photobucket

One of the jobbers lamented about his lack of a good duty report on bilge, but Vagrant told him it was fine so long as the bilge was kept empty. Gravee asked him if it was okay for her to keep the guns empty, but he said it was not. Then I asked if it was okay for me to keep the sails empty, but he said it was not. I told him he shouldn't be so disagreeable and that if he didn't keep us in cookies we'd mutiny, but he was sure I'd be alone in my mutiny attempts. I'm not really one for a mutiny anyway, -unless it's the crew Mutiny, they're full of madness and fun.
PhotobucketPhotobucket

Seavagrant ordered me off sails and onto carpantry, but when I went to my favorite station to take it over Tikao, the captain of Dark Horizon and queen of Brink of Dawn was on my station. I stood there staring at it, but she still didn't move, so I shoved her off it. Seavagrant ordered us not to fight.
Photobucket

Doing the right thing as an officer in Poseidon's Wrath I followed my captain's orders of not fighting with Tikao. I did not throw things at her, blame her when things went wrong, or get into a whole conversation -that Tik didn't seem to notice- with Gravee and Seavagrant about how I wasn't fighting with Tikao. I did not put gum in her hair.
Photobucket

I did not point out when she booched her station.
PhotobucketPhotobucket

When we ported I did not push, shove, or eye her in any malicious way because Seavagrant had told me not to fight with her.
Photobucket

Tikao however did not seem to get the memo and when I tried to bribe the jobbers to join the crew full time with cookies -which Vagrant offered them first- Tikao said I would not share because I was stingy. I tried to tell my captain she was picking a fight with me.
Photobucket

I did not wait to see what he'd say however and decided to take matters into my own hands. A good officer takes initiative. So I stabbed Tikao.
Photobucket
Photobucket

In a bit on randomness I informed those who were left on deck, which were Tiako, Seavagrant, myself, and our new crew member Colliemnm, that my large dead fish I carry to smack barbarians with matched out my dress. I did not pick a fight with Tikao by pointing out that her dead fish did not match her dress or that she'd worn it on her head in an earlier battle when jobbing for Dunkhan.
Photobucket

Red versus Blue
Photobucket

There was a lot of stabbing going around on the ship after that. Both my captain Seavagrant and the captain Tikao stabbed me twice.
Photobucket

PhotobucketPhotobucket

Seavagrant ordered us to put on our makeup, which I thought was a very strange command, but I did as I was told. I even loaned Tikao some of my lipstick, but I accidentally dropped her mascara over board. It slipped. I was very sorry for it.
Photobucket

Then Tikao seemed to think I'd gone mad and asked why I was sailing in port. What a strange question to ask. The reason is so obvious, I won't insult anyone by repeating it here.
Photobucket

Colliemnm is a good new addition to the crew and decided that if I check sails she might need to check guns. Yep, they were full already. Good job, Colli
