Lazy Queen - Kehle

I decided to stalk Tikao, when I heard that she was in the same arch I live in. I have no potion so I really couldn't stalk her anywhere else. I thought she and Collibri were just doing shop business but then I read the list of managers and realized Tik wasn't on it, so I feared they were talking flag business. Colli assured me they were not and that instead Tik was sleeping on the job she didn't even have.

Love of Bandits - Kehle

My crew was already in a pillage, which was led by Falbard on the Rouge Bandit. I missed most the pillage but I was able to come around in time for one battle.

At one point Hekanar asked if he could change from carp to rigging and I teased him by saying if he wasn't any good we'd flog him. Of course we wouldn't really flog him, Bandits just aren't like that. But it's fun to say. At the next duty report he commented his rigging went up to solid so I checked how well he was doing and again teased him that he had escaped a flogging.



Battle time came about and Lego decided he couldn't fight the battle because he had he plague. That sounded as good an excuse as any so I informed Falbard that Lego had given me the plague.



When the voyage was over Diamond asked if anyone would like to join. I told her I'd love to. She then ordered everyone to send Lego a tell. I'm not sure what that was about, but I did so, and Hekanar did so as well. Maybe it was a test to see if us officers could follow commands? Passed.



I lingered on deck as I often do and found Ms. Big was also lingering on deck. We got into a conversation about our corsets and the things that fill them and suddenly Lego was there in our chat circle as well. All that time spent with Lego and myself however gave Ms. Big the plague. Soon it will spread to our entire crew.



Whiteish called attention to herself and it is fast becoming one of my favorite pastimes to pick on her. I'm not sure why, probably because she's a good sport. I asked her if I could call her Gray, because she's not White, but just a little Whiteish.



Whiteish started talking about how she randomly throws a poe at people and that reminded me of the days when Ramina used to have her love showers. I was thus inspired to have one myself. Though I forgot to do my hearties. Rami always did her hearties and the OM on duty as well. Oh well, it was my first Love Shower. ♥

Slanderous Pirates - Ara

My crewmate Cyanos told me that the Bootleg Bandits were going around telling everyone they beat Vargas The Mad. Cyanos even said he got a yoyo or something. Well that's just silly. If Vargas gave them anything it was just more of the type of junk he lets people come to his isles and haul off, because it's just trash. He only let them think they won. He's crafty that way.



Hmph. My father doesn't lose, he just saves his energy for more important battles.

Better Captain - Ara

I tried to greet my husband over flag officer chat, but he seemed to ignore me. Tikao informed me he didn't have a badge. I told her to order him to buy one. She is queen after all and should be able to give orders to he captains of her flag. She either did not, or failed at doing so.


Cyanos also did not have an officer badge so I ordered him to get one. He obeyed my order, thus proving I am more fit to be captain. I tried to prove I was also more fit to be queen by ordering Flood to get a badge, but he didn't listen to me either.

Return of Talise

I was feeling a little cheekier than normal so I do hope I did not offended anyone, but I went out on a medium sized ship with a crew called Bootleg Bandits. The crew was very delightful and I could not help but have such a good time with them that my guard is dropped and my tongue wags with jest a bit more than usual for me.



I got into a friendly debate with a man who fancies himself a gentleman. The debate was of course a pirate versus gentleman. It's hard to argue with a gentleman. They let you win and are polite about it.




It was a good pillage. Though at the end Falbard did his part and loaded the other ship full of holes, but his jobbers wouldn't team and so we lost the battle. He is still so kind that he put some of his own coin back into the booty before he gave us our shares.

Tik Wants Alt's Booty - Ara

I had heard a rumor that Flood was jobbing with my crew and had to come see. But what I'd found was Altofmain had gotten so filled with rum he fell off the ship during a voyage. Flood was all in a panic and I had to go comfort him. Luckily for all on board my Queen Captain, Tikao showed up in time to sail the ship stately to port. Because if I had to do it, we never would have gotten there.

She even entered a battle, maxed the other ship with damage, and then we won. Of course I know she was doing it so the two of us could get a cut of the booty on board. We didn't have a claim to it otherwise.

Cursed Toadstools - Rami

Pirate Log: sea date 23.5.10


It has been awhile since I took a voyage into the Cursed Isles where Vargas The Mad resides. His daughter, Arachne was the one responsible for my death but since my return no further attempt has been made on my life. Attacking her father's lands might not keep things going in my favor, but as with any pirate, the booty is worth the risk.

The voyage was lead by Captain Trilan of Absit Invidia, lady of the flag, Moonshine.


Khoney received a nice little headdress with the indigo color, but all I got was a toadstool.

Best Station - Ara

I started off the evening by joining the Bootleg Bandits on a pillage. One might think I should join that crew as much as I job with them, but they have this crew member I really can't stand, Kehle. She just rubs me the wrong way. Thankfully she's never around when I am.

Anyway, back to my story. I hopped on sails when I got on because I felt like a little change from carp. That didn't last the entire voyage, as I get tired of sails a lot sooner. I noticed though when someone asked where he should go, Falbard told him to go to his best station. I was not on my best station, and asked if I would get a spanking, but they didn't want to reward me for that.


Unfortunately, sails was his best station and it didn't take him long to start doing better than me on every duty report. I requested he be planked, but my request was met only with laughter.


I noticed in the crew chat of Bootleg Bandits, Ms. Big was greeting several of her mates so I enthusiastically requested to be among those greeted. Whiteish promptly greeted me back, so props to her on her speed of doing as I ask. Though I get the feeling she just wanted to shut me up and found me annoying. I get a lot of things that way.


After my trip with the Bandits was over I decided to try and job on Captain Flood's sloop. A little bird had brought to me a note that he was going, but I was in another voyage and didn't take the offer right away. So when I was done on my other voyage I demanded my husband let me on his boat. He played hard to get.



He of course gave in and let me come. And we got lost during battle.


The enemy was so afraid of us that they ran rather than telling us how to find our way again. I was very disappointed about the lack of violence.


We stopped to dig up some treasure on some island. Funny how many brigands bury their treasure, we real pirates just spend it all and then go out for some more.


On our way back to port, Flood let Tikao take the helm a bit. That was a mistake. She doesn't know how to drive.




I ended the night with some friendly advice from Flood.

Cookies For Everyone! - Kehle

Bootleg Bandits decided to pillage on a war brig. At least I think it was a war brig. It was big, black, and had gilded cannons. I don't really know my ship types. That part isn't important to me. I just do my duty.



All the jobbers were doing decent. There were a few that liked to booch or laze and one guy went to sleep during a battle and then got mad when his share was cut at the end. But for the most part the jobbers were behaving, so I declared they'd all get cookies. Diamond cheered at this, until I reminded her she wasn't there as a jobber. Her sobs ripped at my heart though -and were really annoying- so I declared she could have one too. Ms. Big felt left out, so I let her pass out the cookies to the jobbers.



We only lost one battle. I did my best to try and take them all out, but there were just so many of them. Of course it'd help if the jobbers knew how to team. They got no cookies after that one.



Despite the one battle lost, it was still a good pillage and we won all the other battles. Battles aren't the only thing that make a good pillage though. Good mates are more important to me than winning and I have a good bunch of mates in Bootleg Bandits.

Getting Booty - Ara

I stalked Tikao and tried to stab her, but she gave me some lame line about having a headache. Has our relationship really gotten to that point? I was sad until she mentioned Flood was in need of someone to rig his mast so I sent a little bird his way and demanded he allow me onto his vessel, and I asked to board his ship too. He played hard to get as usual, but eventually let me in. They always cave at some point -or go into permanent hiding.


I'd been sailing on Flood's ship for awhile when Tikao suddenly calls out to us and demands Flood stop leading his pillage to enter a tournament for her where the prize was a familiar. I couldn't believe she was demanding my husband leave me for her, even after that lame headache excuse she gave.


A couple of battles later Tik was again yelling out to us on those strange magical winds that allow her on shore to talk to us at sea. This time she wanted us to stop and go on a different pillage with some guy called Altofmain. Not only was his mother drunk when she named him, but why would I leave Flood for a perfect stranger? Does it matter that he's a higher ranking officer in my crew than me? No, I'm a pirate, I don't care if I'm insubordinate.


I was much too busy with Flood anyway, by that time he'd asked me to stop rigging his mast and start hammering his wood. (Switched from sails to carp) Of course I got to be on top, which is how I like it.


Carp wasn't the only thing I got to be on top of. For the first time ever, and probably the last time too, I was top forager. Anyone who knows me knows I tend to sleep through foraging or at least just get fine. I think I might be getting the hang of it now. Took me long enough.




After Flood docked I decided to go on that larger pillage with Altofmain. When I got there I found Cyanos, a crew mate of mine who'd also been out with Flood. I of course sought him out and then accused him of stalking me.


I have a reputation of stalking everyone, but I like to focus on one pirate at a time. I think Rami went around telling everyone I was a free stalker, but that's just her.
